Designed for inward-opening hinged doors with appropriate door-frame clearance.

The Trustella Portable Door Lock is designed for inward-opening hinged doors that provide enough space between the door and frame for the device to be inserted and secured.

For correct installation, the metal claw should fully insert into the strike plate and the adjustable screw should extend against the door surface.

Doors with very tight frames, outward-opening doors, sliding doors, or double doors may not provide the required installation conditions.

Intended Use

This portable door lock is designed to provide an additional portable layer of privacy and security when traveling or at home.

It is intended to complement a primary door locking system and should not replace the main door lock.

CHECK YOUR DOOR BEFORE ORDERING: Works only on single, inward-opening hinged doors with at least a 2mm gap between door and frame, and a strike plate that accepts the metal claw. Not suitable for sliding, double or outward-opening doors.
ADJUSTABLE, STEADY FIT: The hand-tightened adjustment mechanism secures the lock against the door while silicone protector caps help reduce movement, rattling and contact marks on the door surface.
